Carrot Creek Student Model DulcimersCarrot Creek S-Series dulcimers are made from special Italian Poplar laminate that is light and resonant. The poplar fretboard is made with a shorter 24" scale length to accommodate smaller hands, and the wider traditional boat shape increases balance and stability. These instruments are painted with "Old Fashioned Milk Paint" and have a water resistant clear finish over the paint.
An S-series instrument offers an ideal starting point for a dulcimer novice or a good second instrument for travel.
Instruments are constructed to be easily convertible for left- or right-handed playing.
